In the book Cather and The Rye i think Holden is going through a lot. He obviously isnt doing well in school and thats affecting him and the people around him. People seem to be dissapointed and i think this can be really hard for Holden. Cause not only does he have to worry and be concerned about his own academic performance but now he has annoying people bothering him and wanting him to do better in school. Ive experienced the same situation as Holden maybe not as severe but a similar situation. And all i know is that happens i just want people to leave me the hell alone because them putting their noses in things or trying to get involved to me only makes it worse and it also gets very annoying.

Sonnet response (sonnet 130)
In this sonnet i think Shakespeare is kind of talking about reality and in a way almost making fun of fantasy. I feel like he does that when saying things like his love is nothing like the sun because that's reality. As to fantasy would be more like my love is like the sun. Shakespeare pretty much throughout sonnet 130 is saying that how people describe their loves is not true and whether its an exaggeration or not this is how my love is to me. He also says things that can be even more romantic then comparing your love to things like the sun. He might say his love isn't as good as this and this and this but in the end he basically says either way my love is good enough for me.

Marc Chagall poem

His art is special never fails to excite
many people say they can look at his art for hours at night
from a man playing fiddle to one floating in air
when you witness his art its hard not to stare
art was not very big where he began his life
but Marc created many masterpieces, despite
with churches on the ground
and snow all around
this man's art can easily astound
three heads held sky ward with eyes that are glancing
watching the huge fiddle man play while hes dancing
so here's to you painter your art topped them all
your paintings are priceless your name is Chagall.

"The Fiddler" by Marc Chagall (1912)

Something unique that I have noticed in all of Chagall’s paintings is that he never makes anything one color. Whether it’s the snowy floor or the fiddler’s plain clothing Chagall always adds another color to show something. I like that because I think it can make a painting more interesting when a number of colors are being mixed up. That’s why I think this painting is special, because it shows that about his art style more then in any other picture.

Marc Chagall was born in Russia in 1887. At a young age in school he began to grow and interest for art. Living in a poor Jewish neighborhood, art was not very popular. Chagall later began to grow a desire to become an artist. His mother sent him to go to an art school for a month but Marc did not enjoy it. Chagall then began to connect his life to his art. Images from his childhood often made their way into his art. In 1910 Marc started painting in France. In 1914 he went to paint in Russia and then back in France again in 1923. No matter where he painted Chagall’s art was amazing and he was viewed as one of the greatest artists ever.

In the book Crashback Miles keeps facing more and more problems. It weird because just when it seems that everything is actually going fine for Miles, something new happens and ruins everything for Miles. Like in the middle of the book. Everything is fine Miles is hanging out with friends he isn't fighting with his parents and hes staying out of trouble. Then all of a sudden he finds out the girl he likes (Lucia) has a crush on another girl. This seems to happen periodically to Miles throughout the book including near the end. When Miles finally gets another chance to play for his team he takes advantage of it and plays very well. Then Lucia shows up to congratulate him and they spend time together. And his dad even says nice things to him about how he played in the game. So everything seems great for Miles then all of a sudden he gets blind sided when he learns that he is still going to be benched for the rest of the year. I feel bad for Miles. hes been facing so many problems and just when he thinks the problem is gone it comes right back and gets him at the worst time and in the worst moments.

I am reading a book called Crashback by John Coy. The name characters name is Miles and a lot of his problems i feel like i can relate to in my life. One thing is Miles doesn't really have a close relationship or the relationship that he would hope for with his dad. The same thing is with me, me and my dad often don't really get along so our relationship is kinda on edge sometimes. I think Miles is lonely with how close he and his family are. Hes not very close to his mom and his dad you already know about. But another thing that we both share is a way to escape from all of that. We both use sports as a way to kinda get away from reality and relax with doing something we love. Miles even said on page 16 "suddenly the crowd, my parents, and the cartwheels in my stomach disappear." When Miles said that i thought of it like how it is with me he has so much annoying things going on in reality. School work, family, girls, and even friends. But when Miles is on the football field he escapes and there is nothing to think about but doing his job for the team which happens to be something he loves.
